Mom
On the personal front, Dr. Aponte is a wife and mother of 3 children. She enjoys and spending time outdoors with her family. She is a self proclaimed fitness gypsy as she loves anything exercise related.
She had an emergency c-section with her first pregnancy, a successful VBAC with multiple interventions with her second pregnancy, and then a successful unmedicated VBAC with her third pregnancy. She has also endured her own struggles with pregnancy loss and difficulties with conception. She feels that these personal experiences make her more relatable to her patients and is passionate about talking about these things so that others do not feel alone while navigating more challenging times. Above all else, she just wants the women that she treats to know that she sees them right where they are, values their own experience, and she just wants to support them on their journey.
